Volunteer

We serve over 15,000 students each year and that is only made possible because of our wonderful volunteers.  Volunteers help with everything from educating classes, gardening, grounds work, and much more! We have a variety of opportunities available for individuals and large groups.

Some specific opportunities include:

• Lead a school program/station (In School Programs / Field Experiences)
• Judge student proposals (Caring for Our Watersheds)
• Test monitoring wells (Well Watch Program)
• Give classroom presentations (All three programs above)
• Assist with land restoration or trail maintenance projects

Student safety is our number one priority at the PLC, so volunteers who plan to work with or around students will be asked to complete a free background check before beginning.
