What is Science in Nature?
The Poudre Learning Center's Science in Nature Camp is a summer science investigation program for students. During the program, students will experience what it is like to be a scientist through different activities and projects at the Poudre Learning Center (PLC). Middle school students will gather for four days to be introduced to different explorations and challenges in art, science, and math. Students will go into the school year with this experience to share with their friends and provide real-world context for the science studies ahead. Come have tons of fun and make new friends!
Students that will be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade during the 2021-2022 school year are eligible to apply.
The program is limited to 15 participants.
Boys' Camp - June 14-17, 2021
Girls' Camp - July 12-15, 2021

The fee is $150 for the week and includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. We also have scholarships (up to $140) available for students whose families need financial assistance to pay, but would like to participate. Be sure to fill out the “Scholarship Page” as part of your application.
